Holme Roberts & Owen Solicitors (HRO) was established in Ireland in September 2009 as one of the international offices of Holme Roberts & Owen LLP, a US firm. HRO, which was the first US law firm in Ireland, was set up both to service the needs of US clients doing business in Ireland and to provide Irish clients doing business in the US and other countries with seamless, consistent and coordinated legal advice in multiple jurisdictions.

The Irish practice, which is now separate from Holme Roberts & Owen LLP, still maintains strong connections in the United States, with our US clients accounting for a significant proportion of the firm’s business.

James Wolsey and Stephen Noonan, were both appointed as the Honorary Trade and Investment Representatives in Europe for the State of Colorado. They are active in promoting trade and investment opportunities for the Colorado Government throughout the European Union.
